This medium-sized, compact, diving duck is widespread across North America, Europe, and Asia. It is aggressive and very competitive with members of its own species, as well as other cavity-nesting ducks. Length: 40-51 cm Wingspan: 77-83 cm Lifespan: Up to 15 years
